About The AFAF

Described by Harris Goldsmith of the New York Concert Review as a “heartwarming extravaganza… [featuring] obviously talented, budding musicians…”, the American Fine Arts Festival (AFAF) is about start its eighth successful season. The AFAF was founded in 2003 by Vladimir Agilin, a life-long educator and former violinist with the Russian State Symphony Orchestra and Vladimir Spivakov’s “Moscow Virtuosi” Chamber Orchestra. Since its founding, the American Fine Arts Festival (AFAF) has been organizing annual music festivals and performance competition events, providing hundreds of music students each year an opportunity to perform in a formal concert setting at some of the best concert halls in New York City, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall at Kaufman Center.  more ››
